Thinning work available!

We are looking to take on staff immediately to thin excess fruit from our apple and pear trees. You will need to be physically fit as you will be working with a ladder and out in the sun all day.

Thinning is removing small fruit and excess leaves from the trees to help the remaining fruit grow and colour up. This is done mainly in December and is a very popular job with university students after a bit of extra cash…
